Vinted Shoppers Express Displeasure About Size Modifications
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused products showing incorrect sizing.
This online marketplace has revised its sizing categories for women's and children's garments without notifying all shoppers about the modification.

Many shoppers and sellers have taken to social media stating that platform listings now display an altered size classification than originally posted due to the recalibration.
Vinted explained the updated approach better aligns with similar services.
The platform has recommended to examine their items and adjust the sizing manually when needed, causing user dissatisfaction.
Size Classification Updates
Previously, the sizes had both one number and one letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter with a size spectrum like S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the measurements have been reclassified - such as a large size was previously a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
User Experiences
Frankie Bridger, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Another user, located in Scotland, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were showing in the marketplace as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they may become frustrated," she stated.
Required Changes
Charlotte Lunn, located in England, stated she felt frustrated due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizing for "all her products".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, since I have chronic health issues and platform income has been essential following partial earnings loss," she said.
Marketplace Information
The service features exceeding 100 million users, with 18 million British users.
It has become a favored option to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance where an unanticipated change to the app has proved unpopular: earlier, the service retracted a modification to its shipping options following member complaints.
