It's tough for Australia to set fresh records.

The highest peaks have been successfully scaled.

This is the unit that has won seven Cricket World Cups, plus another six T20 titles, and once went over three years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, those for the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a side that has won it all.

It needed until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, taking back their record for the biggest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over the last half-century.

Some will argue the reasoning behind final game tension. Some might respond with the challenge that comes when facing a record target and a loud pro-India audience of 20,000.

What is certain is this ton was much more difficult to predict.

The New Zealand onslaught in 2022 came as she led the batting statistics, but this performance came after six matches in India from the beginning of the previous month in which she had not exceeded 30 runs.

"If you've been watching me in the nets, it's been a disappointing period because I feel like my form was missing whatsoever," said Healy.

"Yet the moment you enter the playing area, your competitive nature kick in and you completely engage with the competition."

Healy's competitiveness has always been her major advantage - and an irreplaceable characteristic in taking over from iconic ex-skipper Meg Lanning.

She was troubled by India's promising player Kranti Gaud in recent ODI series, fallen to the 22-year-old seamer in every game, but here that only provided Healy's inspiration.

One run resulted off the bowler's initial ball and from that point the right-hander was in motion.

"An opportunity to go out there and engage in competition with her and just have a bit of fun that way, sort of got me going," said Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 balls - her fastest at the World Cup - and her ton in 84 as she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

Once she was out her side needed 66 more at run per delivery - an unconquered height now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the confidence to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, should it happen, we know we can succeed."

These statements will be the last competing nations at this championship should hear.

In recent days a sense they will win from any position has only strengthened - this victory following win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a meeting with traditional opponents England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final place may well be secure.
