2K Games has welcomed a seasoned producer from Respawn Entertainment to direct the studio crew at their internal studio, which is currently crafting the upcoming third-person action-packed title known as Project Ethos.

Below is the complete content from the president's memo:

Dear Team—

I understand you all just finished your gathering - I trust you’re as excited as I am with the positive developments. Last time I sent you all a message, I mentioned the following: “I believe in this crew. You all are some of the most dedicated and innovative creators we have had the chance to work with - and we’re excited for that collaboration to continue.”

Through your commitment and versatility, especially over the past twelve months, you continue to prove that.

The gamer responses from last autumn’s the game testing phase was informative. It affirmed the appeal of a action-packed game but made clear we still had improvements to make. It highlighted the need for a clearer identity.

The progress is encouraging to see how far you’ve come. You took the feedback to consideration and overhauled Project ETHOS with a revitalized vision - one that’s ready to fulfill its ambition to our players.

The belief in Project ETHOS increases every day. To further the outstanding advancement you’ve made, I’m excited to introduce Ben Brinkman as the incoming Studio Head of 31st Union. Following a period of discussions, Ben officially joins us on the specified date.

Ben’s management and expertise in the PVP shooter genre is extensive, having spent the past decade and a half producing and managing some of the most well-known titles in gaming, such as the acclaimed shooter, and more recently, the battle royale hit.

Let’s together in receiving Ben soon. We are all excited to keep seeing the progress of the game in the time to follow.

"Create your ideal gameplay session—or face defeat—in this engaging over-the-shoulder adventure! Build your hero in live gameplay to fit your unique tactics," the official summary explains. "Take on the competition with fresh skills, risks, and obstacles that shift every round. Will you withdraw carefully with your collected items? Alternatively go big, put it on the line, and trust your team can secure victory? The decision is yours."

Project Ethos does not have an announced debut schedule or platforms, but enthusiasts can anticipate additional details as creation continues.
